Stop 6 of 6, Day 0.

Land, switch on, and you're already set up

Your number moves onto the US network when you land. Same number, nothing to swap. Then we line up the first-week admin: your dorm, Social Security if you get a campus job, and the plan you keep.

What schol handles

  • Move your line to the US network the moment you land
  • Confirm your dorm and check-in
  • Prepare your SS-5 and book the Social Security visit once you're eligible

What only you do

Show up at the Social Security office in person.

Text schol

Opens Messages with “Hi schol! Can you help me plan my first week in the US?” ready to send. Your first text claims your US number.

On a computer? Scan with your phone's camera to open Messages with it ready to send. Or text “Hi schol! Can you help me plan my first week in the US?” to +1 (415) 867-9016.
